Children's Festival 2014
The campus is filled with fun games & activities for children of all ages!
I especially love seeing the campus covered in sidewalk chalk.
As you can see in the photo above, there was a magic show!
It was so much fun to see the audience participate in the show!
The magician was very clever!
He could make a fork bend in half!
After the magic show I made my way to the plaza to check out the games.
The “Angry Veggies” game was a crowd favorite. Modeled after the popular digital game, “Angry Birds,” the children tossed the “Angry Veggies” at the blocks. If they knocked over any blocks they received a prize!
Horticulture was in the plaza giving away pepper plants!
Before selecting a plant, each child decorated a bag to carry it home in.
The fun didn’t stop there!
Traditional games tournaments were taking place down in the Traditional Village.
The stickball shootout tournament looked very difficult! Each team was comprised of two players.
The object of the game was to hit the pole with the stickball ball.
Of course, players could only toss the ball using their stickball sticks.
It was such a fun day. There really was something for everyone to enjoy!
