In case you missed it, here are the highlights:
There was a wide variety of children’s games taking place all-day long, including “Angry Veggies.” The object of the game was to sling-shot plastic veggies (pictured above) to knock down junk food!
Another fun activity was potting tomato plants!
Is there anything better than fresh tomatoes?
Every child was able to take home their very-own plant!
Of course, an Easter Celebration wouldn't...
I had so much fun at our Valentine’s Day Celebration! Last Saturday was all about celebrating the ones you love.
To show our love, we gave visitors a tin filled with chocolate candies.Of course, there was cookie decorating as well.
Everyone received a complementary cookie kit; I especially loved the X’s & O’s sprinkles!
Some of us couldn’t wait to eat our cookie…
And others saved theirs for later!
After decorating my cookie, I went over to the Aaimpa' Café for lunch.
I sat at my favorite table, check out that view! I spy the Traditional Council House!
The snow makes everything so...
The Fall Festival might be my all-time favorite event at the Chickasaw Cultural Center.
On Saturday, October 19, we celebrated the upcoming fall season! The day was filled with traditional Chickasaw activities and fun for the whole family! The gardening demonstrations were enjoyed by all! The kids loved getting their hands dirty in the garden!
Of course, it isn't a fall festival without a pumpkin patch! We had more than 200 pumpkins!
Roasted corn is a crowd favorite.
I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday!
