The Center for the Study of Chickasaw History and Culture is a clearinghouse for study, scholarship and research of Chickasaws and Southeastern tribes.

  • 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Sunday

The Holisso Center for the Research of Chickasaw History and Culture is an integral element of the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur, OK. The Research Center is a 20,000 square foot research library specializing in the study of the Chickasaw Nation and other Southeastern tribes. This facility provides a home for the items Chickasaws hold dear—the artifacts, objects, stories and information handed down to us by our ancestors. Through state-of-the-art technology, these priceless items will be protected and preserved in the Holisso Center for future generations to enjoy.
