WWII, May 1940—Germany advanced into France, trapping close to 400,000 Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. The only escape was by sea, and the risk of being bombed by German planes made rescue attempts grim. Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were cautiously and heroically evacuated using every naval and civilian vessel that could be found.

Starring: Fionn Whitehead, Barry Keoghan, Mark Rylance
