The perfect date night. A fun family outing. A timeless tradition.
The Chickasaw Cultural Center offered it’s first-ever dinner and a movie last Saturday.
You could feel the excitement in the air. The guests were eager to try something new. The staff was buzzing with anticipation.
The soft music set the tone as guests arrived.
The menu was something to behold, a fine dining experience.
The appetizers, jumbo shrimp and risotto balls, melt in your mouth.
I loved all the beautiful colors in the spring salad.
The house vinaigrette was the perfect complement...
I had so much fun at our Valentine’s Day Celebration! Last Saturday was all about celebrating the ones you love.
To show our love, we gave visitors a tin filled with chocolate candies.Of course, there was cookie decorating as well.
Everyone received a complementary cookie kit; I especially loved the X’s & O’s sprinkles!
Some of us couldn’t wait to eat our cookie…
And others saved theirs for later!
After decorating my cookie, I went over to the Aaimpa' Café for lunch.
I sat at my favorite table, check out that view! I spy the Traditional Council House!
The snow makes everything so...
The holly is hung! The lights are lit! And the Tree is up!
What tree, you ask? Located in front of the Chikasha Poya Exhibit Center, our new Christmas tree stands 30 feet tall. It might be the tallest Christmas tree I’ve ever seen.
It is breathtaking at night.
Last Sunday was our annual Christmas Celebration.Of course, Santa was there to meet all the good boys and girls!
Parents were welcome to take their own pictures.
Or they could have a picture taken by one of our photographers.
Another Christmas tradition at the Cultural Center is cookie decorating!
Who doesn’t love Christmas cookies?
